The marriage of wood & glass: Beach Windows
The sun porch at the beach was all windows that mostly faced the lake. However out the windows on one side was just a view of the neighbors house. Pam asked me years ago if we could buy some stained glass windows to make a little nicer view and provide a little privacy. Well a decade or so later the Covid 19 pandemic came along and I had a lot of time on my hands and decided to make Pam’s windows. The story about making the stained glass part of the windows can be found here. When we finally got back to the lake and I had access to my wood-shop I made and Pam finished frames to allow us to mount the windows in the four fixed windows facing east and south-east. Luckily Pam was happy that she had waited 15 years for the windows.
