Stomping Ground: Doors & masks
When we left camp in December 2019 we had lots of work that needed heated space. So we drafted my brother David and his giant garage and basement to build the 44 screen doors needed to convert the 22 lean-tos into mini-cabins. In addition Pam spent much of her spare time making masks from camp tee shirts (Covid 19 had arrived).

Dave has a two deep 4 car garage and we cut all the wood in the shop area in the back and cut pockets for easy assembly. A little cold but out of the wind.
We built a door assembly station in one large empty room in the basement

Dave rigged a way to hang the doors. With Dave, Linda, Pam and me spraying, brushing or rolling 44 doors eventually got painted in Laura's vibrant colors. This was all made possible by the giant high space Dave made available

The finished doors had structural and insect screens added and were packaged for moving and staged in Dave's garage

When George showed up we carefully fit 2/3rds of the doors in the van for the initial shipment to camp
