Beach:Basement (1975)
Dad needed a place to work (maybe to hide) and a permanent place for the pump and pressure tank. He and Dufort were both tinkerers and took it as a challenge to try to fix anything without going to the hardware store. So they needed places to tinker and store all the spare parts. In 1975 dad got a mason, Henry Tenden, to pick up the cottage and build a block basement underneath with a door on the back just two steps down in a shallow well.
